The SAX Power battery is a new generation of battery technology. The heart of the SAX Power technology is the intelligent, digital control of the battery cells, which converts direct current directly into alternating current.
This innovation makes storage safer, more efficient, more compact, more durable and contributes to a significant increase in economic efficiency.

The SAX system does not require an inverter on the battery side. This means that no expensive hybrid inverter is required for a new installation.
The connection can be made either traditionally via a cable connection or as a plug-in solution to a secured socket, thus saving costs and installation space.

Thanks to the special balancing method, which optimally balances the charge states of the cells, weaker cells have almost no influence on the performance of the entire battery.

We use cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate cells, which guarantee four times the safety of the NMC cells that have been widely used to date. In addition, the special SAX Power circuit offers additional safety through individual monitoring and switching of the battery cells. This enables the cells to be completely switched off and separated within 0.0002 seconds. This practically eliminates the risk of fire and explosion. After switching off, the entire system is below the safety voltage - this eliminates any risk for the installer during maintenance work. .

Conventional storage systems lose energy even when idle and therefore generate unwanted heat. With an efficiency of 99% for conversion, the SAX Power Home has negligible losses, so hardly any heat is generated.

With SAX Power technology, the performance of the battery series is no longer determined by the weakest cell in the series, which increases the battery's service life by up to 50%. In order to operate the battery as gently as possible and to maximize its service life, we use a completely new form of balancing - rotating charge balancing. Here, the capacity of each cell is fully utilized by charging and discharging it individually, because all battery cells have slight differences due to production.

The direct output of alternating voltage means that the inverter on the battery side is superfluous and a significant cost factor is eliminated. This means that when retrofitting, only the SAX Power Home is required for the existing PV system, without the additional inverter for the battery. Compared to conventional products, the SAX Power battery is significantly smaller and lighter. The inverter as an additional system is completely eliminated. In this way, space and weight savings of up to 30% can be achieved. If additional energy is required, the SAX Power Home can easily be expanded to three modules with a total of 15.6 kWh. This also represents a significant advantage for use in the field of e-mobility.

Easy installation
You can choose between conventional installation and plug-in installation. This does not require a new cable to be laid for the storage unit, so the wall does not need to be opened. Your household socket simply needs to be replaced with a secured socket, which you can get from a specialist retailer or from us. The SAX home storage unit is then controlled either wirelessly via a SAX smart meter or, in the smart home version, via an external control unit. Installation should always be carried out by an approved electrician.

Monitor all important information about your SAX Power Home conveniently and from anywhere via smartphone or tablet. If you have installed the SAX Power Smartmeter ADW, you can now also view the performance of your existing photovoltaic system.
To make the data provided clearer and easier to understand, there is now also a graphical representation of the flow of electricity. This means you can see immediately whether your storage is being charged, whether surplus energy is being generated by the photovoltaic system or whether you are getting electricity from the grid.
